The Famous Peppered Moth Photos

This famous photo has appeared in millions of school text books. The peppered moth study is cited as THE example of observed evolution. I think it's a poor example but we've already talked about that.

Anyway, it was later discovered that the peppered moth doesn't even rest on tree trunks. The moths seen here are actually dead moths glued to the tree for the photo!
