In my last post I mentioned that many Christmas carols preach a powerful message. Here's just such a song. Most people know the first stanza (which is wonderful) just read the words to the second:
Mild He lays His glory by
Born that men no more may die
Born to raise the sons of earth
Born to give them second birth!
Veiled in flesh the Godhead see
Hail the incarnate Deity
Pleased as man with man to dwell
Jesus our Emmanuel!
